Biographies
Anil Bajnath, MD
Dr. Anil Bajnath is a Board-Certified Family Physician. Author of The Longevity Equation™: The Step-By-Step Blueprint to Hack Your Genes, Optimize Your Health, And Master the Art of Existence. Dr.Bajnath currently serves as Adjunct Faculty with the Department of Clinical Research and Leadership at George Washington University School of Medicine and is the current course director for INTM 6205: Clinical Genomics, Proteomics, & Metabolomics. He is the founder of the Institute for Human Optimization Precision Medicine Research Group located in Hanover, Maryland. Our practice offers a range of services from conventional preventative screening guidelines to precision personalized healthcare modalities including individualized nutrition, genomic medicine, advanced biomarker testing, microbiome analysis, and biometric lifestyle monitoring.
Dr. Anil Bajnath is a board-certified family medicine physician with a focus on longevity and precision medicine. He is the founder of the Institute for Human Optimization, where he combines his medical knowledge with cutting-edge technology to help patients achieve optimal health and wellness.
Dr. Bajnath completed his undergraduate studies in Molecular-cellular Microbiology (MM) and Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS) at the University of Central Florida. He graduated medical school with honors from Ross University School of Medicine and additionally was a recipient of a scholarship from Keller School of Business Administration for a Master in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Healthcare Services. He completed his residency training with the University of Maryland Department of Family and Community Medicine in January 2019. During his medical training, Dr. Bajnath assisted and published research with the Cleveland Clinic Hospital department of Nephrology.
In addition to his conventional training, Dr. Bajnath pursued additional training in the field of healing sciences. He completed an extensive seminar series in European Biological Medicine with Paracelsus Clinic of Biological medicine and completed a fellowship and obtained master level instructor status with the Institute for Human Individuality (MIfHI) an organization that professed the concepts of nutrigenetics systems biology and network medicine. He is also an Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner (IFMCP) and is Board Certified in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine (ABAARM). Additionally, Dr. Bajnath has completed training in integrative medicine which included Clinical Nutrition, Medical Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, and Clinical Homeopathy.
Dr. Bajnath has an extensive history of utilizing complementary therapeutic modalities to treat his patients. He is a formative expert in helping patients employ prescriptive practices and nutritional modifications based on genomics, exercise, and wellness programs in their daily routines in order to better manage their health. In his practice, Dr. Bajnath is committed to formulating an accurate diagnosis and specific care plan for each of his patients. To aid him in this effort, he uses a thorough initial lab evaluation and genomic analysis to quickly uncover the deeper, underlying problems that lead to illness or disease.
