We will order an advanced lipid profile to assess your risk for atherosclerosis and other heart diseases.
Glucose Levels:
We will check your glucose levels to assess your risk for diabetes and other cardiometabolic diseases.
Insulin Resistance Risk:
We will assess your insulin resistance risk to determine your risk for diabetes and other cardiometabolic diseases. This means looking at fasting insulin or fasting C-Peptide levels, fasting glucose, fasting triglycerides, HbA1c levels.
Advanced Cholesterol Panel:
We will order an advanced cholesterol panel to assess your risk for atherosclerosis and other heart diseases. This will include a complete lipid profile, as well as Lp(a), apoB, and hs-CRP levels.
Inflammation and Plaque Risk Markers:
We will order tests to assess your risk for inflammation and plaque build-up in your arteries. This will include C-Reactive Protein, Lp-PLA2, and homocysteine levels.
ApoE:
We will test your ApoE status to assess your risk for atherosclerosis and other heart diseases.
Arterial Stiffness:
We will measure your arterial stiffness to assess your risk for hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases.
Coronary Artery Calcium:
We may recommend measuring the calcium in your coronary arteries to assess your risk for atherosclerosis and other heart diseases.
Other Tests:
In some cases, we may order additional tests to assess your risk for cardiometabolic diseases. These could include a thyroid panel, an adrenal panel, or other tests as deemed necessary by our team of experts.
