The Vampire Facial® is a regenerative aesthetic procedure that combines medical microneedling with platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, prepared from a small sample of your own blood.
Microneedling creates precise microchannels that activate the skin’s natural repair response. Your concentrated PRP is then incorporated into the protocol, bringing platelets and their signaling proteins directly into the treatment experience.

The treatment is completed during one coordinated appointment. Every step—from PRP preparation to microneedling depth—is selected and performed as part of the licensed protocol.
A topical numbing agent is generally applied before treatment to support comfort. Most patients describe pressure, vibration or a prickling sensation rather than significant discomfort.

Immediately after treatment, the skin commonly looks red and may feel warm, tight or sensitive—similar to a sunburn. Mild swelling, dryness or light flaking may follow as the surface recovers.
An early glow may become noticeable after the initial redness settles. Collagen remodeling is gradual, so texture and skin quality can continue evolving over several weeks. A personalized series may be recommended for more established concerns.

What exactly is a Vampire Facial®?
It is a licensed regenerative aesthetic treatment that combines medical microneedling with platelet-rich plasma prepared from your own blood. Microneedling creates controlled microchannels, and PRP is incorporated into the treatment to complement the skin’s repair and remodeling response.
Is a Vampire Facial® the same as a Vampire Facelift®?
No. The Vampire Facial® combines PRP with microneedling and primarily targets skin quality. The Vampire Facelift® is a different branded procedure that combines PRP injections with hyaluronic-acid dermal filler for facial rejuvenation and contour.
Does the treatment hurt?
A topical numbing agent is generally used before microneedling. Most patients feel pressure, vibration or prickling, with sensitivity varying by facial area and treatment intensity.
How much downtime should I expect?
Redness is common for one to three days. Mild swelling, tightness, dryness, sensitivity or flaking may also occur. Individual recovery varies, so allow additional time before an important event.
When will I see results?
Many patients notice a fresh glow after the initial recovery period. Because collagen remodeling takes time, improvements in texture and overall skin quality may continue developing over the following weeks.
How many Vampire Facial® treatments will I need?
A single treatment may be appropriate for general renewal, while a series may be recommended for acne scarring, more established texture concerns or a progressive skin-maintenance plan. Your provider will recommend the appropriate schedule after assessment.
Is PRP a synthetic product?
No. PRP is an autologous preparation made from a small sample of your own blood. It contains concentrated platelets, plasma and associated signaling proteins used during the treatment.
Who may not be a candidate?
Active infection, inflamed skin, certain blood or platelet disorders, impaired healing, pregnancy, some medications and other clinical factors may require postponement or an alternative treatment. Your provider will review candidacy before proceeding.
